I came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch after hearing about it from my partner. I didn’t know what expect, so we ordered the fried chicken and short rib plates. It was absolutely DELICIOUS and knocked my socks off! The chicken was perfectly cooked with a punchy smoky chipotle sauce and the salad was fresh with the most divine creamy basil vinaigrette dressing. While the fried chicken is a decadent, it doesn’t make you feel bloated afterwards. We don’t live in the area but would stop by all the time if we did!

LOU, Please put your spicy pork balls with picante peanuts on the menu again soon ( if you’re up for it). They were amazing. It was a wonderful, whimsical touch to your always delicious innovative menu. Thank you!!

Lou’s Takeaway is truly such a gem. People are lined up right when it opens and the wait is not too long (I waited 20 minutes and was one of the first people on queue) for the quality of the food- made with effort and love. I got a fried chicken dish and it was absolutely delicious, almost cried lol. The portions are generous so the price point is more than reasonable; you could probably make 2 meals out of what you’re served. Every day the menu is different so they have many treasures to offer! Can’t wait to come again and bring loved ones!
