This place is by far the best we have ever experienced in a long line of experiences with Mexican restaurants. The food is perfect, not just great. I had street tacos the first day and a fish soup the second day, both were phenomenal. My family of 6 had a veriety, including a crispy taco and taquito plate and chicken enchiladas. The sauces were amazing, Including the mole. Hard to find a perfect mole like this. The charro beans sample we had was amazing and the refried beans and rice served with the meals were the best ever. I can’t say enough about the food, we have not experienced this level of care regarding food preparation, quality and portions that are so generous for the price.
The servers both days were friendly and fun to interact with. They knew the product well and were true professionals. They even helped with special dietary needs from life threatening food allergies, and all with a smile and great attitude! And lastly, the atmosphere reminded us of our trip to Mexico. It was a real treat to enjoy this place, it’s our go to restaurant when we visit the San Diego area!

Great ambience and good food! Very open air feel. There is a a self serve salsa bar and another bar section for alcoholic drinks. Went on a Taco Tuesday and ordered the Tres Amigos and Birria Tacos. Chips and salsa were served complementary. Finished with their churros. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend for some good tacos!

First time coming here after having been recommended by family, the food was extremely wonderful, moderately priced, the service was extraordinary. The seafood and their specialty drinks were popular with our group. I live in Vegas, but will make it a must stop place when visiting San Diego.

I’m not going to hold you, this place just gets it! Walked over from Urban Mo’s to have a bite to eat and boy was I in for a treat. Off the bat, the chips and salsa + the beans and pork stew/soup come out as a complimentary appetizer. The beans and pork was the star of the show but I couldn’t find it on the menu nor could I get an accurate description of it from the staff. I still had to order two cups of it for meals during the work week. This bean and pork stew was absolutely delicious! Flavorful, perfectly balanced in spice/savory and it was a pleasant surprise! Since it was my first time I opted for the sampler – chimichangas are one of my favorite dishes with taquitos, chicken wings and cheese quesadillas too boot. Leftovers and laughter with the busy outdoor/indoor seating that was welcoming and warm.

    ⭐☆☆☆☆

I used to enjoy coming here, especially because they had a delicious pink sauce that wasn’t spicy. I hadn’t visited in a while, so I decided to come back yesterday, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing.

The pink sauce was no longer available, and I was told they rotate their sauces. Every sauce offered that day was spicy, which was frustrating for customers who cannot tolerate spicy food. It would be nice if there were always at least one mild option available.

I also ordered a surf and turf burrito, but it arrived packed with rice. The food quality and attention to customer requests seemed lacking.

Overall, the restaurant felt very different from what I remembered. The service and food no longer meet the standards that originally brought me here. Sadly, it feels like this place has gone downhill, and I don’t see myself returning.
