This place is not good!
Is GRATE! Fresh ingredients, good portions, great flavor.
Hand made tortillas, salsa and chips are so fresh. The grilled shrimp taco hit the ball out of the park.
Fresh made Tamarindo drink is the best I have ever tasted.
I highly recommend it.

During our visit to Los Jefe’s Mexican restaurant in Milpitas, we discovered an ideal destination for a rainy day meal, marked by its extraordinary caldo de barbacoa that notably surpassed expectations; the complimentary chips and salsa graciously provided by the owner enhanced our experience, and the barbacoa burrito emerged as a savory and fulfilling choice, leaving us thoroughly satiated. The staff provided exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a truly satisfying dining experience.

Los Jefes is a fantastic spot for authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and well maintained, which immediately makes you feel comfortable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience. Most importantly, the food is outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. From start to finish, everything was excellent. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Mexican cuisine and warm service in a pleasant atmosphere.

I had the Quesabirra platter (two quesabirra tacos) and an Al pastor sope. The service was great, gave me some recommendations. The masa on sope and the tortillas were freshly made. Very flavorful and filling. Also tried their complimentary chips and salsa- they were freshly made and chips had just been made. This place is a sleeper, I’ll be back to try tacos in the future.

Ordered vegetarian items here. What i ordered was unavailable, so had to swap it with something else, but the taste overall was good. Service was excellent. Super clean washrooms. This is a must visit. Vegetarian items are clearly marked.
