If you want real, authentic Mexican food, Las Chilangos Mexican Restaurant is the place to go. The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with pride, just like true homemade Mexican cuisine should be. I grew up eating authentic Mexican food, and this place definitely brings those real flavors back.
The customer service is excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming with a great attitude. The location may look small on the outside near Highway 70, Olivehurst,CA; but the food and atmosphere make it worth the stop.
Overall, great food, great people, and a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Mexican cuisine.

Los Chilangos reminds me of a casino — you’re gambling every time you walk in. Most visits feel like a roll of the dice, and the odds aren’t exactly in your favor. You might get lucky once in a while and end up with a decent meal, but more often than not, you’re left wondering why you took the chance. Consistency is sorely lacking, and good food here feels more like a rare jackpot than the standard. They can’t even give you a good clean Burrito Birria meat with no Bay Leaves.
Customer service is a give and take.

Delicious food and excellent service! We stopped by here and ordered a couple of items and were able to take plenty home. You get a lot of bang for your buck. However, one of the downsides is the atmosphere. There isn’t much ambiance and during our time there was large amounts of smoke being blown in our direction. So outdoor seating wasn’t the best options.

Friendly service, food is good. I personally like their salsa for the chips since it is savory
