Used to play ball for the Chick’s in 1968-69 and this was the place to go after our Sunday double headers! I played with Ted Stayton, Dane Iorg and Don Carter and many others!

What an awesome find!!! History all in one place! Pregamed our Dad’s ( a retired Adirondack Lumberjack) 75th birthday dinner with a cocktail & conversation with the bartender (forgive me, I forgot her name, very unique) She was so sweet & full of information. She let us try spirits, “I hadn’t heard of!” The walls and ceilings were adorned with old time Lumberjack photos, memorabilia, chainsaws, boots & hardhats! We’re definitely planning on going back before we go home to VT!

Located in the center of the Universe, the Logger bar has been serving libations for longer than any of the locals can remember. Truely a slice of Humboldt history not to be missed. With the new owner the place has a friendlier vibe and cleaner too with the addition of a outside seating area in the front for those all so often sunny blue lake days. Don’t miss the music as it is one of a kind.
