Lisa is one of the nicest people ever! We stopped by to sample jams today, and they are DELICIOUS. We left with a sour cherry jam, a meyer lemon marmalade, an herb vinegar, and a tomato soup. Everything we’ve tried so far has been terrific. Lisa herself is friendly, thoughtful, and kind. If you’re in the area, you must stop in!
We stopped to see Lisa today, a rainy January Monday when every restaurant is closed for the winter. She told us about the town and we got her Thai Tomato Soup and vegan Split Pea Soup. We heated it up tonight and it’s quite fantastic!! Highly recommend for a local business and restaurant-quality take-home dinner 🙂 Thanks, Lisa!
Lisa is lovely! With the weather finally changing to fall, we stopped in to pick up some of the amazing frozen vegan and veggie soups. Also picked up green tomato chutney and citrus marmalade I was able to try in the store, and she has so many other options. She was so kind and informative. And the food is made with healthy ingredients. Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re passing by the area.
I’m SO GLAD a local recommended this place! It’s unassuming from the outside. If you get Lisa started she will share so much information about her products, how they’re made, recipes, and anything else – she’s awesome. The jam is basically a pound of fruit condensed into a jam jar – so much better than commercial stuff. I really appreciated the disclosures about allergens and how many options there were in the prepared frozen soup and the recipe book. Everything I’ve tried so far is solid. I will definitely go back.
Delicious jams, chutney, and sauces. My family of four stopped in because it was recommended, and rightfully so. The proprietor (Lisa) shared lots of samples with us, and told us all about how they are made. I was impressed that she uses 3:1 fruit to sugar in her jam, versus more like 1:2 fruit to sugar in commercial jams.
The place is hard to spot, since it does not call attention to itself, but if you want great hand made locally sourced jams and chutneys, this place is hard to beat. It’s a perfect complement to Two Fish bread.
