We visited FB went there for lunch. We ordered beef stir fried with ginger and green onions and stir fried snow peas with water chestnuts. They were very good had ‘wok heih’ very authentic.
Highly recommend.
Small Chinese place, went at linner and service was fast fast like 10 minutes most. Food is good, legit for sure, some dishes are more or less flavored so make sure you ask if you don’t know what you’re ordering. I recommend mushu pork or veggie mushu.
I see there are mixed reviews. I’ve eaten there a few times and the food was good. Tonight I ate there and had vegetable mu shu and it was delicious. I really appreciate that they use rice pancakes. Also, no prob doing separate checks, and there was a group of us, (about 8). The server was very friendly and seemed to know many of the woman at the table (long time locals). Then I forgot my ‘box of leftovers’, I was so disappointed, a few hours later thought what the heck, let me just call and she said, yep we have them, we keep them til closing and if the person doesn’t come back, we give to someone in need, Very impressed, glad I was able to pick up the leftovers, and look forward to going back.
A classic old-school American-style Chinese place!
Don’t go here expecting chines food you can get in the Bay. This is not that, but it’s still great in its own way!
Delicious mushu pork and Mongolian beef. Probably would skip the chow mein and hot n sour chicken next time. Hot n sour soup was good but not very hot.
Overall a fun vibe, cozy atmosphere on a rainy day and something different from the breweries in town. Service was extremely good and warm.
