I went for dinner with a friend and the food was good. I had chili rellones and she had faulates. Both dishes were very good. Then I went for breakfast and it was a disaster. I ordered huevos rancheros, a very basic mexican dish. I ordered the eggs over easy and they were completely overcooked, very hard . And they were just served in the rancheros sauce, even though the menu said they we’re served on a tortilla, like every Mexican restaurant in the world, and all Mexicans know that the huevos rancheros are served on a tortilla. I gave a couple stars for the dinner but they lost the rest because they didn’t know how to make the most basic Mexican breakfast. I am very disappointed, I wanted a good go-to Mexican restaurant close to me Teach your staff how to cook. Or don’t have the busboys cook breakfast.

Don’t let this review from stopping you to try this restaurant. This could have been a one off. I am going to give them another chance to change my mind. Please support your local small businesses.

Las Cazuelas made for such a great dinner out with my parents. Don’t let the size fool you — the team has done a wonderful job with the space. Warmly decorated, cozy, and really inviting. It just feels good to be in there.

The food was outstanding. I had the tamale plate which was perfectly seasoned and so satisfying. My mom’s albondigas soup was rich and comforting, and my dad’s cheese enchilada was spot on. Everything tasted fresh and homemade in the best way.

Paulina and Eduardo were incredible — attentive, warm, and genuinely made us feel taken care of all night. That kind of hospitality is rare and it doesn’t go unnoticed. We’ll definitely be back!
