5-star review draft:
Quick stop in Napa and La Taquiza really hit the spot. The food was quick, easy, and really delicious. I also liked that they had a lot of salsa choices, which made the meal even better. Overall, great Mexican food, fast service, and exactly what we were looking for. Definitely a 5-star stop.

Delivering strong value relative to price point, La Taquiza executes well on portion sizing—generous, satisfying, and aligned with a high-perceived-value dining experience. The fish tacos are fresh, well-composed, and clearly built around quality ingredients, complemented nicely by a refreshing lime agua fresca.
Service is efficient and consistent, supporting a streamlined guest experience. While the atmosphere trends more casual and functional than elevated, the core product—flavor, freshness, and portion integrity—more than compensates.
Net assessment: a high-performing, value-driven concept with standout portions and reliable execution.

The fish tacos are the bomb the avocado pepito salad not so much.
The salad was fresh but half an avocado and a shake of pepitos isn’t really worth That price. Sorry.
I do promise to come back for the fish tacos, and you should try them too.

I ordered the Fitness Bowl with shrimp. Absolutely delicious! I had the choice of mild or hot salsa. Avocados were excellent with black beans. Picture also includes Fish Tacos. Make sure you get your fish grilled. Have a very comfortable patio.

My brother wanted tacos from here and he ordered via DoorDash. Located off of Trancas in a shopping plaza, there’s plenty of parking. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a carne asada burrito, tacos- carne asada, carnitas, and grilled fish. We got the kids a cheese quesadilla. The tacos and meats were just ok. I like my carne asada one but the fish one was a lot of fish and I couldn’t even finish it. My brother said his burrito was ok and my sister in law felt like the carnitas and carne asada were kind of dry. I picked it up and drove it all the way back to American Canyon so maybe it’s better fresh? It looked pretty busy in there and a nice place to eat. The workers looked friendly.
