⚠️ Hidden debit card fee – bad faith business practice
I was charged a fee for paying with my debit card, but nowhere in the store is there any sign, notice, or disclosure saying debit transactions are subject to a fee. I only found out because I checked my bank transaction on my phone after paying.
When I asked the employee about it, I was told they are now charging fees for all card payments and that this is “the new reality.” That explanation doesn’t change the fact that nothing is disclosed to customers, and the receipt does NOT show the fee at all.
If I hadn’t checked my phone, I would never have known I was charged extra. That’s not transparent, and it feels like acting in bad faith toward customers—especially those who don’t regularly check their bank transactions.
Fees need to be clearly disclosed upfront and itemized on the receipt. Until that happens, I can’t recommend this place.
Service is nice, food seems to be on point agua de piña is amazing presentation was good taste good what killed it for me is that I asked for red sauce they didn’t have any so I went with green. The chicken is not shredded it was grilled then chopped into pieces and rolled into the tortilla went from a 5⭐ to a 3 just because of that I’m hoping to try something else next time but for now that’s what I think.
This was the first restaurant I try in the area and the food was pretty delicious. The people there were really nice and I had a good experience. I would definitely go there to eat again.
This is one of my favorite spots to catch something delicious to eat. Grill is always on and you can request changes on the menu but you hardly ever need to pick something different from their great menu. I can not pick a favorite plate, you will have to find your favorite among so many great items in the menu.
