We hadn’t been here since they first opened and were still finding their footing. Finally made it back for dinner and WOW do I regret waiting so long. The menu is fabulous. The dishes were seasonal, generous and outstanding. This place is a gem and true Italian. Lucky Fairfax. We’ll be back more often!

This is one of the most outstanding Italian restaurants—not only in the Bay Area, but truly from anywhere in the states. We met Elena, the head chief / owner / and chief proprietor last summer just before a vacation to Italy. Little did we know the quality of the food and nuance of the dishes would rival some of the best dining spots we visited in Rome, Florence and Venice.
Their commitment to local ingredients and a seasonal menu—combined with Elena, and her families, keen commitments to authentic flavors and dishes—make the place a remarkable foodie option for Bay Area residents and visitors alike. It is well worth the drive to FairFax.
Try the fried zucchini blossom.!! Brilliant. The branzino and pancetta homemade pasta are also real standouts. If you come with a crew make space for the: Burrata, anything pesto and mussels. And all the Desserts.
Don’t miss the chance to get to this spot. You won’t regret it.!!

Went for brunch. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The avocado toast with poached eggs was different than the usual with ricotta that added some sweetness. Fresh fruit was not like a usual side of fruit. It included apricots, nectarines and juicy, sweet oranges. Highly recommend this place!

100% authentic Italian cuisine
The food is crazy delicious, we ordered an Paccheri alla Pancino and Agnello to share with my husband and it was an amazing experience to taste these plates! You can see every detail of work.
Also they recommended for wine Giovanni Ross Etna Ross which also was a great suggestion by our server and also owner and chef of the place Elena that very surprised us and the wine was just great!
The place looks very clean and cozy! Really a perfect side to served a good amount of people and for everyone to have a good experience and savor this food!
We will definitely go back!

Some of the best Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy. Very authentic dishes and flavors. We dined with a party of 5 so got to try many dishes and even those that were a tad lacking were still excellent.
The fresh baked focaccia is marvelous. The creamy polenta with mushrooms was excellent! The original Italian varietal wine selection was refreshingly different than most restaurants and the quality was spot on. Our friends love the roasted Cauliflower, and fought over the remainder that they shared. The pappardelle looked, smelled and tasted hearty and authentic. They also had a burrata and citrus salad with orange slices, blood orange slices, mint and micro greens was an amazing combination of flavors and textures.
Several of us had the signature porchetta. I enjoyed it and found it moist and tender. Served with with the potatoes in the pork drippings were wonderful, sauteed chard could handle a little more garlic.
The desserts were the best gelato I’ve had outside of Italy (we tried the pistachio and the rum raisin (OMG!). We also tried the orange olive oil cake served with yogurt gelato (the combination of the two together was mind blowing!)
Highly recommended and we will be back as often as possible. A tad on the pricey side but understandable based on the service, quality, and authenticity of the food.
