Our first visit to this New Mexican food restaurant on University Avenue. Owner David took our order and brought us some chips and 3 salsa dips. I had the Grilled Tilapia plate that came with rice beans ( I asked for black beans) a small salad and 2 large fillets of Tilapia which look like they were pan fried not grilled. I also had a Tamarind soda . Big servings and friendly service.

Great food and atmosphere. I had Jamaica and carne asada. They have a huge portion of steak. Chips and salsa were good. Be sure to ask for the habanero salsa for some great spice! Friendly service in a busy restaurant. Great place to watch a game!

A wonderful new addition to Palo Alto. The chicken mole burrito was excellent, and the prices are shockingly fair for the area. I plan to go through more of their menu but was very happy with my first visit.

They have prawn, salmon, and tilapia for seafood options and they fresh grill when you order. You’ll need to wait 10 min but it’s very tasty. They also serve complementary chips and salsa.
There is some outdoor seating and they open up the wall on nice days.
The music can be a bit too loud.
