Found this restaurant on Happy Cow initially. My husband LOVED the carnitas and I was able to sub whole beans for chicken or cow on my fajita salad (removing dairy) to make it vegan. The flavors were wonderful! Their salsa is really unique and delicious without being too spicy. We will definitely make sure to come back whenever we’re through Red Bluff again!

Pretty solid place. Good food, great portions. Service also excellent.
I have now been here 3 times and each time, the service is friendly and prompt. I have yet to try the margaritas, but the food is really good. The pollo con crema was my second favorite, and I really liked it. They have a molcajete as an option on the menu. I gave it a go. Glad I did, it was the best I’ve ever tried. Plenty of meat. The bacon wrapped shrimp is a nice addition. The sauce is a little spicy and a bit tangy. Also has chicken, beef, and onions with peppers. Fabulous taste.

What a wonderful meal! I order the carnitas plate. Lots of food, and the caress slightly crispy, exactly how I like it, with onions and bell peppers cooked with the meat. A good sized portion. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and we loved the decorated chairs. This is now my favorite restaurant in Red Bluff

DON’T GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR MEXICAN IN RED BLUFF!!! This is our place. The food is always delicious and flavorful. I feel like several of the other places in town have very bland food, and I love that kalocas has tasty everything. Even the beans and rice are bomb by themselves. I normally get the ground beef chimichanga or a carne asada quesadilla, and both are amazing. They are really nice and the prices are great too. Thank you for everything!
