Went for a birthday breakfast as the menu showed “thick” ham steak. We were greeted quickly, our server was polite and friendly. When asked about the thickness of the ham, she said it’s real thin. So went with eggs and bacon instead. One person ordered biscuits and gravy, it was so inedible they left over half. I had the cinnamon French toast, I’m not sure where the cinnamon was. It was basic French toast.
The only reason I offered a second star is due the friendliness of our server.

We’ve had consistently the BEST burgers (full size, fresh toppings, etc) from here. Is our favorite burger place out of all burger places in furtuna, eureka, aracata, McKinleyville, and Trinidad. Ranch dressing is also delicious and there’s hardly anyone there so it’s not crowded at all. For comparison Stars hamburgers are tiny and poor ingredients are used like shredded onion and shredded lettuce. Joe’s definitely has the best burger I’ve had in decades. Very reasonable.
Update: best thick-cut prime rib anywhere near Humboldt county

Some of the best damn food we have had in a long time everything was extremely fresh and the serving sizes were huge, every single table had brand new flowers that were real to our surprise. Not very expensive and everything tasted really good quite impressed for such a brand new restaurant in this area.

Wonderful restaurant. We loved the corn beef hash. Lots of options for both breakfast and lunch. Was perfect for killing time before heading to the airport.

When we came here, the staff was super friendly and the vintage burger was great! The sweet potato fries had a slightly spicy dipping sauce and the mango mimosa was fun to drink. No wait time and were shown to our table when we arrived at 6:15pm. Clean facility. Decent pricing for the amount we get. Nachos were good portion sizes.
