The 2024 Hourglass Malbec was, from the very first sip, one of the most incredible wines I’ve ever tasted. It easily falls within the top five of my favorite wines.

There’s such a delicate smoothness and balance to it that it absolutely blew me away. I’ve had a lot of Malbecs in my day, but the way this one landed on my palate, and really, the entire experience of drinking it — was out of this world.

Hourglass has been one of my favorite wineries for several years now, and I thought I had found my favorite with their Blue Line Estate HG3. But after having the 2024 Malbec, I think this has surpassed even that.

I wholeheartedly recommend this wine, and give my sincerest gratitude to Hourglass for producing something this special. An absolutely incredible wine.
