The group of kids running wild and screaming nonstop kinda killed the vibe for us. I can see how itd be nice on a quiet day, parking was fine and green is green. Grass is kinda bony though your dog WILL find the foxtails.
honestly i gotta say i was expecting just another neighborhood park but its way nicer than it looks from the street. the walking path is well maintained and theres plenty of shade for the hot days which is huge around here. i wish they would fix the dang restroom door, it sticks somtimes and you feel like youre locked in. definitely a good spot for a relaxing afternoon even if it was busy when we went.
Great little park. Mostly used by locals for fishing. Which means no visitors! Haha but seriously keep it clean and quiet or stay home and trash your own yard. If you like peace, water and maybe a fresh donut and coffee from across the street come join us and notice the rock wall wall with stairs down into water. Good for baptism, swim fun or just throw a rock or two, barring anyone fishing, it’s there for free
I was walking through Clearlake fishing. I started at Redbud. Then hit this little park then went on to Austin. There is a little beach at this park that is full of obsidian. There are lots of benches tons of shade and never anybody there. They also have grills everywhere. Nice little park clean, safe and not crowded.
