Bathroom and showers were clean but some out of order while we stayed. The camp group itself has several tent sites that are private and is nicely located around the corner from the convenience store in Myers Flat. Lots of river access points within walking or driving distance.

This is a mostly good campground.

Highlights were the river access and facilities were solid. Staff was also nice. Beautiful trees nearby.

Didn’t love how cramped it felt, you could see probably 6 camps and the people in them from our camp. Also there needs to be some warning from the kiosk people about how insane the poison oak is. Poison is EVERYWHERE in the campground and the trail to the river was kind of a nightmare. Constant attention is alertness, sometimes moving at a snails pass because it’s growing into the path with no maintenence. I wore sandals thinking it’d be chill and probably used up every ounce of good luck in my future to avoid getting poison oak on the trek to and from the river. Y’all need to warn people or do something about it in the path, it’s bananas the way it is.

Would probably stay again, but it did leave a lot to be desired around privacy.

Do NOT take your car to the left side of the campground unless it has high clearance or you will damage your underside. It’s an okay campground, the sites were definitely placed very tight together to maximize quantity often at the expense of privacy and room to pitch a tent. The forest is also very overgrown and many sites would benefit from some serious clearing. This campground clearly needs a lot of renovations. I would only go here if I hadnt reserved a better site elsewhere. But at least the showers are hot!
