This market was a godsend because they carried so many items! From household goods to gifts to produce. This was good because CVS was still 2 miles away.

I was so surprised to see the Australia macadamia nuts and Hawaiian Bubbies! These are items I thought you could only find locally. I had to pick up one of each of course.

Parking is free on the street.

An adorable market with a huge selection of cheese and a variety of snacks. I deducted 1 star because this was my first stop in town and was slightly shocked by the cashier’s behavior towards me. She didn’t say anything towards me, didn’t ask if I needed a bag or anything and then just dropped the receipt down and started chatting to the next customers in line before I even collected my items. Not even handing the receipt made me feel some type of way especially when she was friendly to people before and after me. She was blonde wearing a ponytail, maybe 40s-50s, with tattoos on arms.

I’ve never had this behavior directed to me in my life and it made me feel out of place.

I stopped at this little market in Mendocino on a 10 day driving trip of the Oregon and California coast. I bought some delicious soups, chicken publano and Thai chili. I also got some great baked goods from a local bakery. But the highlight was really the checkout, where Jessica was the loveliest person. I wish I could come back and even be a regular customer. She’s a delight!

Great selection of foods, wine, home gadgets. Large prepared food area for grab and go meals.

I love this market. They have fresh baked Artisan breads, food by the bulk, fresh fruits and vegetables, and a butcher – love! There were multiple people available to help, so no one had to wait. There are high quality pre-made sandwiches, salads, sides as well as “take-to-go” healthy dinners. There was limited parking, but I had no trouble finding a spot. Great selection of food and note, there were options available with limited, high quality ingredients. I was very impressed by this little market and it was well worth the drive. If you have time there are shops and restaurants here as well as hiking trails near the ocean. We spent the day here and shopped for food before our ride back.
