Beautiful Bayside park right on Humboldt Bay in Eureka with views of the rest of the north side of the bay towards Arcata and Samoa. This community park has a playground coming, and the lawn is used for lots of community events if not for people to just sit and enjoy a picnic and kick a ball around.

The waterfront looking out over the marina is so beautiful! I’m sad the city cut down the trees along the pathway, but I’m very glad they’re going to repave the trail and then replant new trees. Be aware the gravel parking lot by the grassy area is very uneven!

You can see Carson Mansion and yachts docked at the marina, with wide lawns spread out beautifully. The area connects all the way to the boardwalk, making it a perfect place for a stroll. Dogs can run around freely, and waste bag dispensers and trash bins are well maintained. It’s a great spot to visit before or after a meal to enjoy the stunning scenery. Aside from the lawn care being a bit neglected during the off-season, it’s a highly recommended place where you can enjoy many things at once.

Love this area of old town. There’s a parking lot where me and my wife take out lunch breaks everyday. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful view of the bay and the harbor. And nearby is the beautiful mural wall full of graffiti art from local artists.

Well, I have to say this is a very underrated park. I mean there are not alot of thing that you can do there but it is a very nice place to walk around. I recommend you to do picnic there. There are table that you can sit on the right and you also able to see the ocean and the boat. The parking lot is pretty much very big, you can leave you car there and ride your bike around.
