Wow. Simply an amazing experience. Must make reservations. When you arrive (there are no signs so you have to use gps) you call the number and they open the gate to the property. The tasting room is literally in the back of the owners house. Insane views. Delicious wines and the best part is we immediately felt like we were hanging out with friends drinking wine. Staff is beyond nice. The owner even came down and talked to us! The food pairing with it is delicious and all items are either local cheeses or made on site ( curry popcorn and chocolates) this was an intimate experience as we were the only ones there. I hope it stays small but I’m scared people are gonna catch on to this gem.

We made a reservation to visit Halleck Winery in March while we were visiting Bodega Bay. The boutique winery is in the charming Sebastopol countryside with a fantastic view of Sonoma Valley and Mount Saint Helena. We really enjoy visiting small family-owned production wineries and always find them a unique experience. Halleck winery is one of the nicest we have visited and we were lucky to visit on nice day and take in the outdoor space and view. In addition to the setting, Jen really added to the great experience we had at Halleck. She provided the history of the family winery and the details behind each wine we tasted. Jen paired small bites from local producers with each wine she poured. We really enjoyed the conversations with Jen and the visit to Halleck’s home. To top it all off, each Halleck white and red wine we tasted were impressive. We signed up for the wine club and ordered one of each wine we tasted in our shipment. We will be back on our next visit to the Sonoma area to enjoy another tasting.

We could not have had a better time at Halleck for our tasting. There’s a great variety of wines with perfect pairings of small bites. The host, Alison, was gracious and knowledgable. The property is cozy and intimate, definitely something worth bringing friends to. It is well worth the price with or without considering their excellent wine club.
