Great selection of fruit, and the apple cider is very good! They also set up bathrooms for travelers – very thoughtful.

Gowan’s is one of our favorite road trip stops on the way to the Mendocino coast. They have a small barn where they sell apple cider, apples, a varying selection of dried fruits and nuts and seasonal produce such as pumpkins. They have a grassy space, shaded by oak trees that has three swings for the kids to enjoy and it is conveniently located right next to the restrooms. So the kids can have a nice swing and a stretch and everyone can use the facilities. I’m grateful every time I come here because it is one of the few places where we can stop and have ready access to a restroom. We always buy a few apples to snack on and sometimes a half gallon of their house made apple cider before we hit the road again.

Loved this place. Best plums I’ve ever had. So amazing. I wish I bought more. Peaches and strawberries were real good too.
Also had awesome homemade cider popsicle and cider slush. Yum.
