Cheeseburgers were delicious. Double cheeseburger was enormous. Chicken tenders were incredible. Sweet potato fries were great. Garlic fries seemed to have a strange fake-garlic flavor. Coffee shake was good not great.

I really want to thank Gotts in St Helena! My friend and I were driving through town when her car decided it didn’t want to live anymore and caught fire. After the wonderful St Helena Fire Department put it out, we moved our items across the street to wait at Gotts while a friend came to pick us up. The Gotts staff, who witnessed the fire, were so nice to us, bringing us milk shakes and fries and bottled water! As we waited, I eventually ordered some street corn, one of my favorite things at Gotts! The staff there were so awesome! I am so grateful for the staff there and the delicious food!

Back again and still one of the best burger spots in the Napa/St. Helena area. Burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy with great flavor, and the fries were outstanding — crispy, hot, and addictive. You can really tell they care about quality ingredients and consistency. Service moved fast even when busy, and the casual atmosphere makes it an easy place to relax and enjoy lunch. If you’re anywhere near St. Helena and craving a serious burger and fries, Gott’s is always worth the stop.

Or a slightly shorter/more casual version:

Another great stop at Gott’s. Burgers were excellent — juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly — and the fries were amazing as always. Fast service, fun atmosphere, and consistently good food every time we come here. Definitely one of our favorite casual spots in Napa Valley.

    Or more “foodie” style:

Gott’s continues to deliver one of the most satisfying classic burger experiences in Napa Valley. The burger had that perfect balance of smoky char, juicy beef, fresh toppings, and a soft bun that held together without overpowering the meat. Fries were crispy and addictive. Casual, efficient, and consistently excellent — exactly what you want after a day in wine country.

Gotts was one of the restaurants that was on our hit list for our time in Napa . We finally got our chance to stop by for lunch after we visited one of the wineries. Even though there were tables in the front we decided to sit at one of the benches in the back. The line was not long and we got our order taken. The order took about 5 minutes before we had to pick it up form the counter. My wife ordered the burger and I had the chicken tenders. We both enjoyed our meals. I definitely see why people tell us to stop by. I even had the seasonal beer that people in the town rave about.

We passed by this place on our way into Calistoga and somehow knew this was the burger spot of the trip. It’s a roadside stand where you’ll feel a little underdressed if you haven’t come in your Sunday best. It’s all outdoor seating – mostly at wooden picnic tables under individual umbrellas atop astroturf fake grass. Imagine showing up to the Ole Miss Grove when you thought you were going to your uncle’s backyard cookout. It has a Grove feel which aligns with the plethora of sundresses, penny loafers, and expensiveass sunglasses. And they ask what fraternity you were in when you order… just kidding… it didn’t go quite that far. Despite the fact that we didn’t get the dress code memo nor have a fraternal affiliation, they still let us eat there. And I’m so glad they did because this place was one of a kind. It would fall into a gourmet burger category for me and has the price tags to prove it. I got the California burger with balsamic onions, a fried egg, arugula, bacon, and Gruyère cheese. The creation is a beautiful combination of flavors but I thought it was lacking the burger char flavor it deserved. And I would’ve wanted more Gruyère. So I’m giving it an A- on flavor though it was really enjoyable. The spice-dusted sweet potato fries were top-notch and came with housemade ranch that was a unique creation in itself. Cheers to Gott’s for serving up fancy burgers in an even fancier yard!
