DONT NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL NEW OWNERS ARE NOT CARING FOR THE SPACE. This hotel once was privately owned when our family had stayed in the past the couple lived on site and cared for the location and guest as their own. Since new ownership we rebooked and upon our arrival it was terrible. The lobby smells like strong cat urine it’s clear the pet cat is not monitored. Then for your key you have to walk a block to their sister hotel to pick up your key as to which us and another group arriving were not previously informed so we were on the sidewalk with luggage not able to access to lobby while one us had to run over there. Then once entering the lobby the smell was awful and no staff on site to support. Then when we got to our room there was someone’s personal items in the bathroom and the carpet was torn and stains on the head board. We instantly canceled and left to another hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We booked this trip to this hotel back in June. While attending a family celebration. We were told that the rooms would be adjoining which they were not. We were told that there would be a bathroom connecting the rooms which there was not. In fact, there was a shared bathroom out in the hallway like a hostel. There was a cat on premises which I’m allergic to cats. Overall, we’re all on a family vacation with an outstanding. This hotel did not deliver in any way shape or form. The cable in our rooms did not even work while we stayed there for the four nights. So again, I would highly recommend not not staying at this hotel for anyone who was from out of state

This hotel was a charming stay for us. Nicely decorated lobby and hotel room, it has a real Bed and Breakfast feel to it. The room has an old fashioned charm to it, and we got a room with its own bathroom, definitely nice. Perfect location to walk to many areas, and catch all the public transportation. The area felt safe at night, as a seasoned traveler. Occasionally I could hear some loud coughing from the room next door, but honestly the rest of the stay was very quiet.

The sister hotel on the same block has staff 24/7, so that’s where we checked in and got our bags when we had them hold them on checkout day. We even had an issue with the room at one point early in the morning and the helped us out when we called real fast. Breakfast at the sister hotel is very simple, but nice to have as an option. Good eggs, and we had bacon the first few mornings we were there, but not for the rest of the trip for some reason. Fruit, juice, coffee, cereal, decent options.

The absolute highlight of this hotel is Skittles. She is a super friendly, sweet cat. She would follow us every time we walked in the lobby to our room. She slept in our room too most nights. As a cat lover, having her here helped us with not missing our own cat as much. She’s such a unique addition to a hotel stay.

We definitely will stay here again next trip for Skittles. We miss her!
