Girard is one of my favorite wineries. The staff is always super friendly and the wines are excellent. My number 1 favorite wine of all time is Girard’s Mixed Blacks. We always bring out of town guests here and they always love it!

Loved it! We had a tasting “Taste of Rhône” with Karen, out on the front patio & it was SO LOVELY! Karen was so chill, friendly and knowledgeable! The wines were delicious and we brought a few bottles back to TX. The place is GORGEOUS too (beautifully landscaped!) Would recommend it very much!

We had a great time tasting wine at the Girard Winery in Calistoga, California.
We opted to sit inside thinking it might be a little chilly outside on a late winter afternoon. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny springlike day. The sitting arrangement was comfortable, and our host Diana did a great job explaining the details of the wines we were tasting.
You have the option of tasting from a preselected list (two white and two red) or choose four from their menu.
If you are planning a visit to the Napa area, specifically Calistoga, Girard must be on your list for tasting wine.
