Walked in alone ahead to see if there was table for 5 at 7pm it was empty. Nobody bothered to acknowledge me.
Walked out to see if my family were close by. Went back in alone still no greeting just blank glances. Went back out and brought family in and wife and sister they had an instant greeted with smiles not me hmm. We all seeted ourselves and waited for quite awhile to order as they became too busy taking an order for a walk in. All in all bad service pizza burned on base.

I’ll preface this by saying I recently became a single mom so every dollar counts these days. My whole experience here wasn’t good but the food was delicious. When we initially walked in no one acknowledged us and there was 6-7 staff members and no other customers. We walked to the register and grabbed a menu but still weren’t acknowledged. I finally asked if we ordered at the register or if someone came to us. We were told to sit anywhere and someone would be there to help us. After a while, a server brought us some water and walked away. Then it was a good 10-15 minutes before she came back to take our order. I repeated my order about 3 times – a small pizza with 3 toppings and 5 buffalo wings. When the pizza was done, the same server came over and told us that they accidentally made 2 pizzas – one with 2 of the toppings and a second with the third topping. She asked if we wanted the pizzas or if we wanted the correct one made. At that point, I was exhausted after a day of work and hungry. We had already been waiting a good 25-30 minutes so I told her we would take the pizzas. We ate and the food was good. Halfway though our meal, the cashier came over and asked if all was good – I said yes and asked for a to go box since we weren’t going to finish both pizzas. She brought it and the check was also brought. I noticed I was charged for the two pizzas and the wings. When about to pay, I acknowledged I got 2 pizzas but asked for a discount since it was their mistake. They took care of it and discounted a pizza but they didn’t seem too happy about it and the cashier seemed to have a melt down. Not sure if she was reprimanded for the mistake or what happened. I would’ve gladly paid a portion of it but felt unfair to pay almost double what I had anticipated for their mistake. They also made a mistake on another order for a family dining in when there weren’t many customers. Overall, the service wasn’t great, mistakes made with orders, and staff bickering with each other/having melt downs in front of customers made it a bad experience. The food was delicious I do admit but we will not be back.

    What an awesome crust !!!
Not too thick ; not too thin … and firm
    yet not undercooked

Have been going there for decades

    Tonight was particularly good
had a combination that had pepperoni and sausage and a few other ingredients I think it might’ve been number three but I’m not sure
The people are great and I had a very generous pour of wine while I was waiting for my to-go pizza .
They are a great part of Fairfax

I’ve been coming here for 30 years.
This has been a great stop for me and my family on our way home from days spent in nearby state parks and fun weekend tourist destinations.
The pizza is EXCELLENT and always has been.
I stopped eating meat a while back, so I know for a fact that their meat free offer is EXCELLENT too.
This is a small, cosy, local, family friendly place with great people watching window seats. Staff is helpful and usually quite friendly. Food comes quickly and is served hot.

The service here is abysmal. Sat at a table, no other customers at all. The fork/knife were covered in a coating of old food. How disgusting is that?
The server knew I ordered a Ghiringhelli Italian Combo medium size pizza, but gave me one small paper napkin. About 25 minutes later my pizza is ready. The server didn’t even offer me any parmesan cheese or red pepper flakes. Got up and got it myself. They’re way too focused on expediting delivery orders, I may as well have been invisible to them. The meatball tasted like gyro meat. The tomato sauce had ZERO FLAVOR! The edge of the crust was cooked crispy. The rest of the crust was an undercooked, mushy complete mess. The entire pizza was not cooked enough. The execution of that pizza was horrendous. Between the awful sauce and undercooked SOGGY crust ruined the entire pizza.
Cost with an ice tea was $31.00. Didn’t finish the pizza, got it boxed to go and immediately gave it to a skateboarder guy sitting near the bus stop. Strongly recommend you don’t go here, your money will be better spent at a good restaurant
