The Gazebo Fountain in Eureka is such a charming little spot in the heart of Old Town. It’s a peaceful place to stop while walking around, with the sound of the fountain and the beautiful historic surroundings making it feel really relaxing.
The gazebo itself is well-kept and makes for a great photo spot, especially when the flowers are in bloom or during golden hour. It’s simple but has a lot of character and adds to the charm of the waterfront area.
It’s a nice place to sit for a few minutes, take a break, and enjoy the atmosphere before continuing to explore nearby shops and restaurants. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Old Town Eureka.
The fountain never works, in fact it’s kind of dangerous because if kids walk up to it they could lose their balance and fall and possibly hit their head on one of the pipes sticking up

Old town Eureka is charming, nice local shops, great arts events, and fun walking and watching the sunset. Nearby Humboldt Bay, and many amenities to visit.
Have always loved this spot in oldtown. Used to get an ice cream and go play. I sat there yesterday with my daughter and granddaughter and watch kids play. Little one ridding bikes up and down and chasing pigeons. Wonderful to watch the carriage go by. A must stop. And it’s a Pokemon go stop too for those interested.
