Amazing wines from a still privately owned winery. Great staff and beautiful location offering up some of Oakville’s best.

Gargiulo Vineyards was, without question, the highlight of our entire Napa Valley trip.
This is a smaller, limited-production winery, but the quality is truly unmatched. The experience felt incredibly personal from start to finish: our tasting was completely private, just my wife and I, which made it all the more special.
We had the pleasure of being hosted by Lucas Meister, who made the experience unforgettable. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, personable, and just genuinely fun to spend time with.
The setting itself is stunning. The winery sits perched on a hill with breathtaking views of vineyards cascading down below, and being right next door to Screaming Eagle Winery makes it feel even more special.
We began with a rosé and a white wine, both excellent, before moving into their reds, where Gargiulo truly shines. We were generously poured their “Super Oakville” Aprile (a beautiful Sangiovese/Cabernet blend), the Money Road Ranch Single Vineyard Cabernet, and the G Major 7 Single Vineyard Cabernet.
Every wine was outstanding, but the Money Road Ranch Cabernet deserves special recognition — one of the most balanced and elegant Cabernets I have ever tasted. Truly world-class, yet incredibly approachable. The G Major 7, on the other hand, is fuller-bodied, powerful, and equally impressive in its own right, the most memorable wine I have had in a long time.
Simply put, these were the best wines of our trip and we of course purchased bottles of every red we tasted.
If you’re looking for an intimate, top-tier Napa experience with exceptional wines and even better people, Gargiulo is a must.

This was an incredible tasting experience. Our host Lucas scheduled us last minute for a two hour, tasting when in town last week, based on the recommendation of friends who were here earlier from Florida. This is a beautiful space, even on a rainy December day the view from the back patio is exquisite and cozy. The wines were wonderful. Lucas again is a great guy, we can’t wait to come back when in town again next year. This is the best of Napa.

Our tasting experience was awesome! The hosts graciously accommodated us despite a miscommunication about our reservation time. The wines and the winery are amazing! Cozy outdoor tasting area with great views of the vineyard and mountains. The host was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained winemaking and their wines well. Overall it was the best tasting experience we had in Napa. Highly recommend it.

Overpriced tasting experience. We visited when the property was being used for a private event and so, the grounds had limited access. Nevertheless, the tasting fee was the same for a limited experience. $150.00 tasting fee per person, is perhaps amongst the highest in the Napa Valley. The wines don’t justify the high coat of the tasting and the overall price of the wine.
