We had a phenomenal dinner at Floyd and Connie’s! We started with cocktails: ice box martini and a painkiller. The painkiller was what you would expect from a top end tiki bar. Our stuffed mushrooms and panzanella appetizers were both well balanced and fresh. We ordered the hanger steak and steelhead with succotash for our mains. The hanger steak was a truly great cut of steak that was seasoned perfectly and cooked to match. It came with a horseradish sauce that was delicious and complex, it really complimented the steak rather than overwhelming it. The steelhead was the best I have ever had out from a restaurant. It was cooked beautifully, moist yet crispy with delicate skin. We finished with a slice of key lime pie that is what you always hope a key lime pie will be, but never is. I only wish I could bring Floyd and Connie’s back to where I live so that I could enjoy it regularly!

A hidden gem. Food, service, atmosphere all 5 stars. The food and cocktails were delicious and creative. The interior is really well thought out, beautiful attention to detail, comfortable seating and good acoustics (I could hear my friends!). I highly recommend and will return whenever possible.
