The absolute most spectacular fish tacos I’ve ever had. Peach salsa with corn to top off the fish tacos. Hands-down will never find anything better anywhere. Now I need to stay for dinner!
We had a really nice experience at Fleetwood Restaurant. The atmosphere felt warm and cozy, almost like being at home, which made the whole visit very comfortable.
The food was good—simple, fresh, and well-prepared. Not overly fancy, but definitely enjoyable. The service was also great: friendly, attentive, and easygoing.
Overall, it’s a pleasant place to relax, have a nice meal, and spend time with friends or family. Would happily come back again.
Best dining experience we had. We went to the famed CIA for dinner the night after eating here and though completely different experiences I would do fleetwood again no question. Great food and nice atmosphere. Not fine dining but excellent flavors. No “adventures in food” that sometimes don’t work out so well. Portions are very generous.
Fleetwood’s: Calistoga’s Best-Kept Culinary Secret
Fleetwood’s in Calistoga is truly a hidden gem and an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by an incredibly friendly staff who make you feel right at home.
The restaurant itself is a feast for the eyes, boasting beautiful decor and gleaming hardwood floors that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The lively bar area, often filled with convivial locals, is perfect for enjoying a pre-dinner drink or a casual evening out.
What truly sets Fleetwood’s apart is its dedication to freshness and quality. Every dish is meticulously prepared with wine country ingredients, perfectly aligning with the restaurant’s Italian and Mediterranean vibe. Their accessible, seasonal menu brilliantly emphasizes what’s fresh, offering a delightful array of wood-fired, locally inspired fine foods and pizzas.
You’ll find that the dishes are simply prepared yet bursting with flavor, served casually in a vibrant, community-focused dining space. Fleetwood’s manages to strike that perfect balance between refined cuisine and a relaxed, welcoming ambiance. Don’t miss out on this fantastic Calistoga experience!
This restaurant is located on the Motor Lodge property and has a spacious outdoor seating area at the back. We visited with some friends who had been there before. The restaurant has two large woodfire ovens, and they make delicious pizzas. We ordered the pepperoni and mushroom pizzas. I decided to try the wild shrimp and artichoke buccatini pasta, which was really tasty. The churros were crispy and delicious, too. I also ordered a strawberry mojito, but it was a bit sour.
