We had the best cave tour last week with Jackie. She’s a rockstar. I still remember her description of the composition of the Chardonnay. We were checked in handed a delicious Chardonnay and gawked at the private car collection. Impressive!!
Our tour was interesting as we learned about the history of the Winery.
Far Niente is a world class wine maker. Both Whites and Reds are recognized at elite levels.
This is a must for wine tasting!!

We had the most incredible anniversary celebration at Far Niente Winery. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The grounds are absolutely stunning—peaceful, elegant, and beautifully maintained. The wine was exceptional across the board, with each tasting somehow better than the last.
The staff made the experience even more memorable with their warmth and knowledge, making us feel truly welcomed and taken care of. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a meaningful occasion.
We were so impressed that we happily became members and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Far Niente for anyone looking for a top-tier wine experience!

Far Niente is such a beautiful place that we wished we could have had better weather while we were there. We had a private tour and tasting with John who had a wealth of knowledge about the property and its history along with winemaking that Far Niente is known for. We ended up purchasing a few bottles that I wish we could have sent home but ended up packing in our luggage and I’m happy to report they survived the trip. We really want to visit again when the weather is better as the grounds look to be a fantastic place to spend an afternoon. We appreciated some of the little extras that came with the tour including the delicious boxed chocolates.
I would recommend carving out the time to visit Far Niente if you are visiting Napa.
