We’re visiting from Los Angeles and just finished a pretty long hike. This place was across from the inn we were staying at and had great reviews so we tried it out. We weren’t expecting James to treat us like royalty! I’ve never felt so much hospitality at a restaurant before. The food was amazing also. 6/5 easy.
Hidden gem, chicken salad was delicious and burger was substantial and amazing. The salad ingredients were fresh and crisp (fresh chopped?). Chicken was tender, well cooked and cut in chunks. Amazing chef
They can get busy but it’s worth the short wait. They have an exceptional dessert case with carrot cake cinnamon roll, fudge ube brownie, chocolate chip cookies, cheese cake, tea cookies, excellent music, curly fries and Mac cheese were surprise his.
Small place with 25 chairs. Group of 4-5 is fine but anything more and you’ll want to call ahead.
We just had dinner at Elise’s Eatery in Crescent City, and it was a great experience!
We arrived close to closing time (they close at 8:00 PM), and despite our large group, the young cashier/server greeted us right away and kindly asked whether we’d prefer to sit together or separately. We told her whatever was easiest for the staff, and she was incredibly accommodating.
Our family ordered the Redwood Burger, a children’s burger, a large side of onion rings, and the chicken tender meal. Everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. The chicken tenders were lightly breaded, perfectly cooked, and still juicy inside. The burgers were excellent, with toasted buns and generous portions. The onion rings were crispy and plentiful, and the free drink refills were appreciated.
The service was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous. We’d happily stop here again and would recommend Elise’s Eatery to anyone visiting Crescent City.
Pretty good food here and server was friendly, though he seemed to be much more talkative and interested in the other traveling guests even though we’re not from here either. Prices were high but they were everywhere in California. Much smaller inside than we expected!
We tried the western burger and Mac and cheese both were delicious!! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. They even had fresh apple hand pies for a sweet treat 10/10 recommend. The restaurant was also very cute and clean the food came out quick and the waitress was so so kind and attentive. Thank you for a great lunch!!
