The San Leandro Marina is a fantastic spot to just catch a cool bay breeze and escape the valley heat.
The flat, paved paths right along the water are absolutely perfect for a long, easy walk with the dog.
It is a quiet, laid-back place to grab some fresh air, watch the planes land at Oakland airport, and catch a great sunset over the water.

35min wait for my Beverage, no silverware even after my food came. Told her I can’t be diving into meal without napkins and utensils. Bathroom need updating. Paint and a deep clean need. Cobwebs on dining chairs.
Maybe they’re just tired idk.
Food was ok but man my waitress hated me.

I genuinely do not know how this place is still open. INSANELY dirty, terrible quality food, way way overpriced! Carpet through the restaurant is disgusting and ripped. Cobwebs everywhere. Restrooms were not serviced. We were seated in the back where there was no AC and it smelled like sewer. Poor waitress had to open the emergency exit door to let some type of ventilation in. The food was **terrible**. I ordered the $30 carnitas plate and my beans arrived foamy and cloudy. The carnitas were extremely salted. No flavor, just salt. I thought I had one bad bite but no the entire plate was extremely salted. When the bill arrived we were charged an extra ~$9 for what? Just says subcharge. Not disclosed anywhere that this is for restaurant “operating fee” not sure why it’s even needed considering how overpriced everything is. The only good thing from this restaurant was the chips and salsa. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Nice happy hour options here, and a cozy vibe in the bar area, from which you can see the large bay windows from any spot. My $10 jalapeno cucumber margarita hit nicely, as did the sangria. Street corn and ghost pepper BBQ wings were great! The chicken flautas were not crisp enough for me—my only complaint.

Been coming here with my grandpa since I can remember, and I haven’t been back since he passed away but my fiancé took me here for my birthday and the food is just as amazing as I remember, if not better. And the service was great, Dayana was attentive and sweet. They even sing happy birthday panchita like I remember. Thank you bringing back so many memories at el Torito with him.
