One of the best taqueria’s in the area! Good prices and very authentic, not trying to be some expensive elevated trendy version of Mexican food like many places midtown.
Ordered the carne asada plate and a lengua regular taco. Huge serving of carne asada, good quality meat. Grilled onion and jalapeño on side were juicy. The beans and rice were perfect and slices of avocado were a nice touch. Two large tortillas, good quality. Lengua was some of the best I’ve ever had, so soft with great flavor.
Free chips and salsa. Standard salsas but the mango habanero salsa was delicious and unique.
Kind service and food came out quick. Vibe is lowkey, modest, and authentic. Small area to sit inside with a TV with larger seating area outside.
Located on a corner, hence the taqueria’s name, so not a lot of immediate parking but more in the surrounding neighborhood.
This place can be a little hard to find parking however when we got there and it was not as busy so we got lucky. The service was quick and the atmosphere is nice as we ate outside with a little breeze. I got the Asada, and carnita taco with a Modelo Negra. Self salsa, chips provided, and other condiments.
The asada and carnita tacos were good, their spicy salsa is good. The best thing was the carnita taco. Best to be chased down with a nice cold Mexican lager.
This place is very small inside. They have patio dinning too. Parking a but tricky. The service was great. Nice little salsa bar. My husband had a shrimp quesadilla he liked it. I had taco plate. Al pastor with rice and bean soup. All delicious lots of meat on tacos. Definitely good food and nice people.
Perfect little spot to grab some tacos on this beautiful breezy 70degree weather. Service was quick with a counter order. Small inside seating with decent outdoor seating.
The $1.99 taco Tuesday carnitas street tacos were perfectly seasoned. Wish the asada street tacos were also $1.99 as well, but if you’re a fan of chicken and pork. $1.99 Tuesday sure does make a hell of a deal.
Top it off with a modelo and you got some good food.
My favorite taco spot around Sac, easy access off 99 and plenty of free street parking if the lot is full. Always quick, tasty and they have beer as well. My favorite chicken taco around and I love the salsa bar, especially the mango habanero. Always nice to sit outside when the suns out.
