Not a bad experience, but probably won’t be back. Customer service was excellent, but the food wasn’t that good imo.
I had the Chile Rellano & Enchilada combo plate:
• Chile Rellano & Enchilada came in a the typical sauce, but not much spice at all, and not much flavor. Just very bland, but not terrible. Cheese was a bit too chewy for me, not much of a melt factor, and the breading wasn’t anything special.

My husband had the wet burrito with carnitas. He meant to order al pastor, but he told them carnitas, so that’s on him, but the sauce was the same as mine, bland very little flavor. The carnitas were crunchier than he would have likes.

The rice was pretty dry and flavorless, the beans were too blended for my liking. Mostly sauce very little beans.

Overall not bad if you’re not accustomed to authentic Hispanic food, or if you don’t like too much spice on your food. It basically tasted like a better fast food version on Mexican cuisine.

What a gem!!! Not an area I usually frequent. My husband and were hungry. Saw the El Jardin sign. Took a chance. So glad we stopped. It was 2pm and the place was hopping. Lot’s of locals. The prices are good, selection amazing and customer service outstanding!! They have Happy Hour deals. I ordered 2 burritos to go. FLAVOR!!!!! What a tasty burrito. I wish we lived closer, this would be a regular spot for us. Thank you El Jardin for filling our bellies and making our taste buds happy!! Hope to be in your area soon.

Pozole is soooo delicious. Loved it!
The “flautas aka rolled taquitos” are super yummy and crispy to perfection. The “Aguas Frescas ” are amazingly tasty. Overall, El Jardin Taquerìa is the perfect place for real Mexican Food. Prices are very affordable. The place is very clean, friendly and kind staff . They have handicapped parking and access for wheelchair .
El Jardin Taqueria is highly recommended.

I ordered a single crispy taco with beef. I didn’t even question that it was almost $11 because California and also walnut creek. I had no idea that it was a full plate with beans and rice. I feel like if I order “a single crispy taco” that’s what I should get. Not a “single crispy taco with rice and beans and small salad” If I wanted rice and beans and all that I would have ordered a crispy taco with rice and beans and lettuce and all that. If only the person talking my order wasn’t obsessed with being on her phone maybe she would have been able to help me. I guess hanging up your facetime call isn’t an option when talking someone’s order. I’ll never be back. Btw the taco was bland. z
