Lived across the street for 3 years as a teen and would come once a week at least, haven’t been back in about a decade! I drove through this past weekend with my girlfriend and was so stoked to see that it was still open! It has a very minimalist, “dive” atmosphere but the food absolutely SLAPS! The lengua is still on point and the super quesadilla my girlfriend got was the size of a burrito and she said it was the best Mexican food she had in years… I feel like most of the negative reviews on here are posted by gringos expecting some kind of b.s. “ambiance”, this place has heart and soul that you won’t find at places like Tres Amigo in HMB or Taqueria Vallarta in Santa Cruz; this place feels like a legit taqueria you’d find roadside in Hermosillo, CDMX, GDL etc; doesnt look fancy but doesnt need to be! Sure the super burritos are a little pricey now but beef and other meats are at an ALL TIME high under Trump, as are gasoline prices, so can you blame them for the prices on a super burrito? Its not like they hold back on the portion either. We got tacos and quesadillas and spent around $20 and we were both stuffed, so although some items have increased in prices others are a bargain, especially give the huge portion sizes, you wont find a taco with that much meat for under $3 in Santa Cruz or HMB. Please ignore the negative reviews and check this place out if you actually care about the quality of Mexican food over some b.s. sombreros hanging on the wall or posters of Frieda; that doesnt make the food better. 5/5, make sure to get the orange salsa!

Pretty good Mexican burrito stand. Used to be a little better. Clean establishment. Friendly and polite staff. Fast service. Could use some more outdoor seating. Good menu, but needs crispy tacos and taquitos. Convenient location and a tasty authentic Mexican option in a pinch.
