We had visited El Gallo Negro to test them out to cater our wedding and the food and service were both excellent.
We got so many compliments about their food everything was amazing.
Their team was able to figure out away to deliver our food on a day that was really busy for them and us. We had originally planned a pick up, but when plans changed they were able to accommodate. This was dropped off in the middle of a redwood forest and was delicious, fresh hot food.
Thank you much to El Gallo Negro and their team for going above and beyond to make our day so special and stress free.

Super good food. LOVED the salsa. Also liked they had a drive through. Outdoor seating was enjoyable (but loud) with a fountain in there. I had Chile relleno, husband had grilled chicken burrito. Both enjoyed it very much!

The food was amazing. I got the avocado salad and the flan for dessert. It’s a really nice place, the bar is separated, which is nice. The service was not good. I had to keep asking for water. The cups are too small it was a little busy, so i understood, but i had to keep reminding her. asked about the special for the day she didn’t know what it was, but its on the menu she said they hadn’t told her and never even went to ask.

Amazing Mexican cuisine and drinks! You must try the mole — a rich, traditional dish originally from Oaxaca, Mexico. The chef is also from Oaxaca, bringing authentic flavor to every bite. The micheladas are the best around, and don’t miss the house mezcal — it’s exceptional.

You MUST TRY!!
El Gallo Negro is a total gem. First time in and truly knocked me out my socks. The food was delicious- so rich in flavor and the jamaica agua fresca was so refreshing and not too sweet. You can tell they care about the quality of their dishes.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is clean, well decorated, and offers several dining spaces for people to enjoy.
I would come here more if I lived closer.
