It’s the kind of neighborhood market where the food is made with care, the vibes are warm, and you feel lucky to have it nearby. I may not live next door anymore, but El Brinquito still lives rent-free in my heart (and my stomach). If you know, you know — and if you don’t, go fix that immediately.

Best burrito in the greater north bay area, I’ve hit just about every Mexican spot you can think of from hopland to SF and yet I’ve passed this place dozens of times. Today I corrected that mistake and am forever changed. Chicken and pastor to die for, friendly folks, reasonable prices, burrito came out super fresh and hot in under 3 mins.

Nice local family ran store Saturdays and Sundays. They have huge barbecues out front cooking chicken. Definitely a must-stop. If you’re needing a snack and like chicken, they’re marinate is awesome. Nothing like I’ve ever had before. Get yourself some tortillas to go and one whole chicken with some salsa on the side. You will not be disappointed

The best chicken I have ever eaten, hands down, won’t hear otherwise. The chicken (grilled out front) is mostly available on the weekend, but think it’s also possible to get one a random day of the week. Charred goodness.
