Their social post pictures of food look really good but when I got my food on two separate occasions, they don’t look as good. I was excited for the Munchies box but the esquite was underwhelming. The hot cheeto crumble was not actual hot cheetos, it was some generic look alike, wish they used actual crema and more cotija cheese. The al pastor tacos were good. The Horchata was good. The Thursday Torta was messy and wish it had looked like the pictures but it was a mushy.
I’ve been seeing this place pop up on my Instagram a lot lately. I had to pay them a visit. I got the Cubana burger and my wife got the crunch wrap. My son got a regular burrito, which was exactly that. We all shared the churro cheesecake water and were quite happy with it. We’ll be going back to try their other items and different meats!
Like the famous Tina Turner song once said, Indian Village Eats is simply the best! Hands down my favorite food truck in town. Tortas are amazing and their conchinita pibil is unreal! It’s become a weekly tradition. Oh, and the pambazo burger! That thing is special!!
I happened to stumble on their social media and decided to give them a try, and Im glad I did. Their chicken tacos are flavorful and delicious. For the season they have a pumpkin pie horchata and I dont know why it wasn’t thought of before. The owners of the truck are very kind and good at their job. Extremely reasonable pricing, I paid less than 20 for my 2 tacos, horchata w a slice of pumpkin pie. Skip El Roys and come here!
Edit: I updated the photos to include their churro cheesecake horchata. 100/10 recommend
