Great food! Definitely a new go to in Murphys! Be sure to sit out by the creek. The shaded outdoor patio is beautiful. The atmosphere is just a bonus to the delicious food! Great service too! Answered all our gf questions. Chicken tortilla soup not pictured was also a big hit for only $2.99!! Chicken plates, nachos and chilaquiles all great dishes!

Only been once. The caldo de rez was “chef’s kiss”. Delicious house made tortillas and the classic margarita was on point. Sitting by the creek is very pleasant. And the service was top notch.

We came just after they opened on a Sunday in the middle of may. Plenty of parking was available of course. We chose to sit in the outdoor patio area. The rushing water of the creek supplied an excellent background ambience.
Our server was eager and friendly. We’re not picky eaters but asked some questions and received excellent suggestions which we ultimately followed.
I’m a fan of Birria de res. We chose a QuesaBirria over the ramen , caldo , combination plate. Chef’s kiss!

Fantastic meal at El Arroyo! The carnitas were a highlight—perfectly cooked. Love that they offer plenty of healthy and vegetarian options alongside the classics. Great spot in Murphys!
