Love this little spot! I commute from Portland to SF frequently, and this is my go-to stop when I’m tired of driving. Lanna is always so welcoming and kind, as are her two cats. Clean place, nice sheets, great view, amazing claw-foot tub…this place is great!

Amazing stay, stopped by the city for gas and ended up looking up for a spot to stay at for the day. I wanted to give up since the phone number was different then what was posted on the property. However, I went to the place to check availability and I was in luck! It is a simple beautiful Inn where the hosts Llana and David are some of the free-ist folk I have ever met. Both of them seemed pretty sincere and the breakfast was like eating out of an organic garden. My wife and I were taken away by the sheer beauty this place had to offer. We didn’t act up and treated the place as our own and even cleaned out the trash to make it easier on them because they were very well deserving! Book it and you won’t be disappointed. It is right next to Mt Shasta all you have to do is make the drive.

Lanna prepares the most wonderful breakfasts every day. She was very interested in my reasons for coming to Mt. Shasta and took time to explore a nearby nature preserve with me. The room was comfortable, and the other guests were an eclectic mix of friendly people.

Arrived and was greeted by Launa, she was super sweet and very hospitable. The breakfast that is included is not your “stereotypical one” , because she actually caters to all types of people’s preferences. Her garden is absolutely gorgeous, with flowers and blueberries and little ponds. She has a wonderful set up, and takes the time to tell you what and where to go. Now try getting that local experience at the resort/spa!

Lonna and David are great hosts. We were thoroughly pampered by Lonna’s amazing food and fine dining experience and David and Lonna’s hospitality. This place maintains the old world charm and personal touch that is hard to find these days. Mt. Shasta is visible from their backyard and beautiful garden. It’s also centrally located and all major attractions are easily accessible.
