We had a lovely experience here a few weeks ago… came here for our anniversary dinner and it felt very special. We sat at a small table righg next to the window, looking out at the water. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and we appreciated the recommendations she made. Everything we ordered was perfect. Delicious cocktails and salad, we ordered two sides – the crispy potatoes and sesame green beans which were both outstanding but I will be dreaming of those potatoes!! And entrees were the Pork Chop and the black rice bowl. The rice bowl was good but was a bit light and didn’t quite match the rest of the items… but the Pork Chop was perfection and the savory bread pudding on the side was very unique and we loved it. We kind of shared a little of everything. We also got dessert, a chocolate cake, which was delicious. We left feeling very full but extremely satisfied. The food was very high quality and prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. You can tell that there is a lot of pride that goes into this operation. Also, I felt that for the quality of the food, the price point was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be back.

We had a perfect dinner at Drakes in the Lodge at Bodega Bay hotel tonight! We started with their delicious Young Lettuce salad and the Himachi Crudo. So good! For our main course we both had the Halibut served over puréed potatoes and broccoli raabe. Absolutely fabulous and I’d consider *world class*. We finished with a shared piece of their dark chocolate cake with light cream cheese icing. Even the coffee (Peerless Coffee) was outstanding. Our server, Kelsey, was so friendly and efficient and took such great care of us from start to finish. We will return to Drakes as soon as we possibly can. Highly recommend!
