Probably the 3rd most commercialized, touristy winery in Napa, after V Sattui and Castello Di Amorosa. Tastings by appointment only. They are always super busy. I don’t like sparkling wines and champagne so I can’t judge their wines, but I think what draws the crowds is the beautiful property and views. It was nice that they let us share a tasting. There are 4 wine flight options, $45/60/65 sparkling flights of 4 and a $45 pinot noir flight of 4. They seat you at a table of your choice of inside or outside, pour your flight all at once, explain the wines, and you may never see your server again. Fast, efficient, and cost effective for the winery. Perfect for quick turnover. For the guest, it’s great that you can taste at your own pace, explore the property as you please, but highly impersonal. This feels more like a place for pictures rather than a place to taste and learn about wine. They have snack foods for purchase. The main parking lot south of the building is small and is often full, but they have an overflow lot that is much bigger further up the hill to the left side of the building. As much as I dislike big name touristy wineries where all their money goes into their aethetics, I think it’s still worth going once, even if it is to just take pictures and not taste wine

I’m not a huge bubbles fan but my crew enjoyed the wine. The posh Nosh was tasty a nice quick bite to share with friends ( dont skip putting the caviar on your tots). The wine for a non bubble lover was still pretty good. But the views!!! This place is breathtaking takingly gorgeous.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere, wine, cheese + charcuterie, and our server Alex were so wonderful. It was our first wine tasting on our trip, and first ever, and we were extremely happy it was. Phenomenal first experience at Domaine Carneros and with visiting our first winery for tastings. This is the place to visit for sparkling wines!

We had a great tour and tasting here! The entire staff was so kind and helped fit us in when we realized our tour was on the wrong date! The tour was brief but informative, and the tasting was generous. We had the posh nosh with our tasting, which was just okay, but would recommend visiting. The grounds and tasting area are very beautiful!

What a beautiful property! We felt like we were stepping into another world walking up. The property was well taken care and breathtaking.
Cory was a wonder host and very knowledgeable, not only about the wines but about the animals and the area in general. Cory was super friendly but very down to earth. He was a great listener and was very attentive to not only us but to other tables as well.
The wines and bubbles were well worth the visit!
