If I could have left zero.stars in all categories I would have. We were seated quickly, but over an hour later, still no food. We walked out. Waitress was not forth coming about checking in on our order, which was simple meals. Lost an hour of our life we’ll never get back. Starving, long trip home. Never been so dissatisfied with denny’s.
We stopped at this Denny’s while visiting Glass Beach for lunch, and it was a great experience. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—they even took the time to suggest some delicious vegetarian options for us. Also, the iced salted caramel coffee is an absolute must-try! I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
I’m from a big city so I was looking forward to experiencing Denny’s in a small town for the first time. I was seated shortly after entering. I was looking for a snack after walking along the coast for two hours, but not a full meal, so I ordered onion rings ($10.39), a cup of fruit ($5.19), and a sweet and creamy cold brew ($6.29).
The seasonal fruit was fine. The fruit at the diner at the nearby Studio 9 Motel is much better. The cold brew was good but a little too sweet for me. The onion rings were all golden brown, crisped to perfection. It was a big plate that could’ve been shared by two to four people.
The restroom here was pretty clean. There are arcade style machines near the entrance. You pay by taking your bill to the register at the front. The tables have ketchup, jam, salt, and pepper.
Food was ok and Staff great. But they have a scam claw machine that says scan here for a free play but charged me $15 on mt credit card. Meal ruined by a cheap scam with Denny stickers on it.
After arriving in town close to 10 pm everyone was hungry and options were limited. When we arrived the place was pretty busy. The one waitress mentioned she had a full team earlier that night but no business so she let them all go. Then she was hit by a rush. I didn’t catch her name but her service was wonderful! She was attentive and kind. Running around to keep up but with great professionalism. Both food and drinks came out in good timing. My daughter got plain pancakes and loved them. I tried the mac and brisket skillet. Both were hot and tasted great. The staff were all friendly to both customers and each other.

Tasty food in a classic setting.
