WOW WOW WOW!
Best meal I’ve had in awhile.
Everything was prepared to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive providing exceptional service. Great menu selection. Fairly easy access for mobility disabled people. Average noise level, easy to have a conversation.
I highly recommend dining here!
Ita a beautiful setting but thats about all that exceptional about this place. My fish and chips were burt and the service from the older waitress was really subpar. As someone that has owned restaurants here’s some tips: always leave a menu at a table, never ever, I mean never throw the bill on the table while a customer is half way done their meal. Obvious to me these people have no idea how run a business let alone a restaurant. This place needs help. We loved Nevada city and will be back for a visit but won’t be back to this restaurant. Its only been open a couple of years and dont see it staying in business long, but who knows, maybe they will getting people just because of the location. Get ready to pay for the river view with poor service.
Glad we gave this spot a try. Hadn’t been here in years, when it was a different establishment. And it was terrible. Decided to finally stop in since it’s now Deer Creek Bar and Grill.
We typically go to Crazy Horse (up the road) for lunch. But with the World Cup games going on, Crazy Horse was overcrowded. It’s a small joint so it was pointless trying to get a table for 5.
Good thing Deer Creek has ample seating! Plus a little spot outdoors that overlooks the creek below.
We all got something different. Our 6-year-old enjoyed her chicken tenders and fries. I got a lovely, delicious Margherita pizza. Others got a burger and tacos. Everyone was happy with their meal.
And our server, Cole, was super nice and attentive. He was on point. One of the nicest, chillest servers we’ve had in a long time.
We will definitely be back again! Glad we’ve got a new spot besides the bar up the street.
So good! And look at that view of the creek in the background! My Garlic Blue Cheese appetizer was superb. Traditional breakfast was very good with large fluffy pancake and tasty ham. Coffee (fresh ground daily) was smooooth. Staff friendly. Great prices. Large portions. A perfect breakfast!
