My partner and I agreed that this was the one place where we felt we had the least personalized experience (tastings were done for the day) but it was probably also the most peaceful. We were given a sampling of three different wines to try, and ultimately decided on the sparkling for a glass as we walked the gardens. There was hardly anyone else there as it was late in the day, but it felt peaceful as we strolled and as if we had the whole place to ourselves. While the wine was quite good, what really makes this place stand out is their olive oil, the pollinator garden, and of course – Petunia the pig. As animal people, we gravitated to her and felt it was hard to pull away from her adorable grunts as we scratched her to sleep. Thankful for the downtime experience and excited to try the olive oil we purchased now that we’re home!

Sarah was an absolute gem! Loved having her serve us! She was so bubbly and lovely and would recommend her to anyone thinking of coming to DaVero. She is very knowledgeable about the different wines and had answers for any questions we had. Very down to Earth and sweet. We had an amazing time 🙂

This is not the typical industrial, tourist trap , over priced nonsense that local wineries tend to extend to silly tourists that dont know any better.

This is the kind of place with soul where you can relax in the shaded or sunny courtyard outside with a glass of wine or bubbles if you decide not to do a tasting.

They were originally making olive oil and still do but eventually became a vineyard.

There is a peaceful little garden outside and there are even pigs to say hello to.

There were a lot of little table outside that could probably be reserved for dinners. At least thats how i imagine it but its worth asking.

    It steps from town.

DaVero Winery is truly a hidden gem and a powerful reminder of what it means to be connected to the land. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the love and intention poured into every corner of the farm and tasting room. The commitment to biodynamic farming and regenerative agriculture isn’t just something they talk about—it’s evident in the way the vineyard thrives, how the staff speaks about their work, and in every sip of wine.

The Italian varietals were beautifully expressive, elegant, and balanced—clearly crafted with care and respect for tradition. The olive oil was another standout—rich, fresh, and unlike anything you find in stores. Our tasting guide made the experience even more memorable by sharing not just knowledge, but passion and a deep respect for nature.

This is more than just a winery; it’s a place that invites you to slow down, engage with the natural world, and leave inspired. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a meaningful, memorable wine tasting experience.
