A wide variety of art. A place for children to construct their own art out of clay. The coffee bars and food is very delicious and just as artful as the rest of the museum. 6 different galleries all for free. There are some exhibits that do have a small fee but most of the museum is free to browse and enjoy.

This was a last minute addition to our road trip, and we’re so glad we stopped. The Walton family has created a beautiful experience for all to visit as this museum is FREE! Parking could be better, but the walk is fun with lots of sculptures too enjoy. Or shuttle service is readily available for those who don’t want to walk.
Once inside the museum we were blown away by the art work and the building itself. I was amazed at the quality of food at the restaurant, much better than typical museum food. I would actually choose to come for the restaurant itself.
You won’t regret a stop here!

This an outstanding example of American art and culture, even some geology sprinkled in. The grounds are equally phenomenal.
Thanks to Walmart it is absolutely free.
Dont miss the Frank Lloyd Wright house, the sculptures or the Chihuly Glass gardens. For an cool down during your stroll of the arboretum you must visit the Turrell’s Skyspace, The Way of Color, as well.
I recommend you get there early, it will take all day. There is a restaurant and coffee spot inside.
You can park off of A street off of Central st., and its a short walk down to The Compton Gardens which leads to the museum.
I cant wait to go back.

This is a wonderful museum. They have a very wide range of art and it’s curated very nicely. There’s outdoor art to see as well, crystals to admire and trails all around. The grounds are beautifully kept. The Frank Loyd Wright House is really neat to see. They also have wheelchairs available which my mom used but it’s easy to walk if you are able. The gift shop is really nice as well.

Stellar experience. This is a well represented museum, something I wasn’t necessarily expecting since it is free admission all day, every day due to an endowment. Grandma Moses, Georgia O’Keefe, Jackson Pollock, and many others make this a beautiful and well rounded experience. The old man on the bench was mind blowing! It makes me so happy to see the arts made accessible to everyone. The architecture of the building itself is spectacular as well. Even the food at Eleven (the restaurant in the museum) had fantastic food. I had the spiced catfish with a tomato gravy and purple Arkansas rice. Absolutely delicious! Cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed the day. My soul happily absorbed the visual beauty and the deep meaning behind some of the pieces. Plenty of walking trails as well. I left there on such a high.
