My parents and I decided to go to Crabby Crabby. This is unique because they not only serve seafood but also Mexican food. I basically scrolled through the menu and they have Mexican items. They also do Taco Tuesdays.
Haven’t had seafood boil for a while and I love to revisit to consume them. Food is really good there especially sausages and crabs. I also had Cajun fries and they’re really on point with the seasoning. Crab is really hard to cut especially with the tool to cut it since I’m not really familiar with how to use it. Quite pointy though which made me have to constantly strategize on how to cut it until my dad showed me how.
We mainly came here for the seafood boil but perhaps, I should try one of their Mexican dishes as well as fried foods that come with fries.
My first visit! Great service, polite and helpful. A variety of food to pick in variable prices. I wanted that seafood bag and they had the bag for $30 combo bag that they said to try of seafood and corn and anyways it was amazing. Loved it and will come back.. I enjoyed the atmosphere, to decorations really nice and Spacey… and I liked the music. It was nice and lively. I felt like I was at a little party. . Finally found a place not too far from us that has great seafood combinations. I’ll be back!
Today we visited Crabby Crabby in Newark and it quickly became one of my favorite Cajun seafood spots in the Bay Area.
The seafood was super fresh! we ordered shrimp and crawfish, and both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Cajun seasoning was rich, buttery, and had just the right level of spice. You can really tell they know how to do a proper seafood boil.
The portion sizes were generous, and everything came out hot and well-coated with sauce. It’s a bit messy (as it should be!), but that’s part of the fun.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was casual and great for groups or family dinners.
If you’re craving a Boiling Crab-style experience without the long wait, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be coming back again!
The best service of any restaurant ever. They were so accommodating to our autistic baby. All our babies. They are the absolute best. The food was 10/10 too! Thank you to the amazing and accommodating staff. Especially the two ladies!
