Walked in the Ukiah branch bright and early when they opened. Angie called me right over and was able to complete all my transactions with ease. She made sure I was aware of the advantages of keeping my savings in a CD and went over the rates so it can grow until I need it. Everyone in the branch was cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I joined this bank via the merger with vocality credit Union. First thing I noticed was, some of the employees seemed far less friendly than vocality, and it felt like some of them hated their job and treated the customers accordingly. Others were just downright rude. It wasn’t long before, mysteriously, I kept getting faulty charges on my card despite the fact that I never give out my card info and I’m careful where I use it. Started out occasionally, and then happened frequently, often resulting in being overdrawn. But their attitude seem to suggest that my account being overdrawn was somehow inconveniencing them. Once, they even canceled my card without informing me, so while I was overdrawn and the charges kept coming, I was unable to actually go fix the overdraw via the ATM to prevent more fees. Another time, I deposited my money into the bank, went home, and then went to go pay a bill, only to find out that later on, they withheld the deposit, let the bill payment go through, causing another overdraw, and then afterwards, allowed the deposit to hit. It’s just been one thing after another with this bank. Worst experience of my life when it comes to banking.

A new breed of Credit Union with great customer service. They have great programs and opportunities for their customers. I listened to their plan and it’s better than my credit union for rates and features.
