I had a great lunch at Colibri Mexican Bistro! My server, Elizabeth, was fantastic. I have a jalapeño allergy, which I know can make ordering at a Mexican restaurant a little more complicated, but she listened carefully and made a great recommendation that worked perfectly for me.
I ordered the steak plate, and it was absolutely delicious. I also had one of their gin cocktails, which was excellent and paired really well with the meal. To finish everything off, I had the churros for dessert, and they were the perfect ending to a great lunch.
Since I stopped in during my work lunch break, I really appreciated how quick the service was without feeling rushed. Great food, great drinks, excellent dessert, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Excellent Mexican restaurant located in the Presidio. It has a lovely ambience, with lots of outdoor seating surrounded by the park’s beautiful trees. The indoor seating area is also large, with lots of tables. Acoustics were good, so it was easy to talk.
They serve authentic Mexican food, which was delicious.
This would be a great place for a date. You could pair a meal with a walk through the park and to the waterfront.
Came here for a birthday celebration, had a great time with great food. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the fajitas. The staff was very kind and surprised us with birthday churros and sang with us. Food was a little slow to come out but thankfully we had the chips to snack on while waiting. Reservations were easy online, outdoor seating looked cozy and would be perfect on a warmer day. Large parking lot right outside, requires payment during certain hours!
Had the best service at the bar for dinner with Geovanny tonight. It was so busy, yet he stayed balanced and poised and on top of everything – having worked in the service industry, I was very impressed.
He made a recommendation for wine based on what I described, yet provided me with samples of ones I was curious about… And I ended up with a glass of the one he recommended.
The Pato en Mole Verde Pipian was perfect for my dinner. The arugula salad had a lightly sweet and tangy dressing, the duck was just done with a crisp skin and already sliced, and the risotto cake was lighter than I expected – it was a little sweet, a little savory, a little creamy cheesy, creamy inside with a nice crust outside.
