Purchased 10 yards of ”Growers Select“. Very dissatisfied. Chicken manure was barely composted. The pile was steaming hot. The delivery was more expensive than the actual compost. The fact that they don’t allow pickups for less than 5 yards adds to my dissatisfaction. Do yourself a favor and go to Alexander Valley in Ukiah. Try harder Cold Creek.

High Quality Compost we depend on for our market garden at Peace and Plenty Farm. We apply the AgroBlend compost twice a year (heading into summer production and then again, heading into winter), and we have been very happy with the results. We actually used the “lasgane method” to build our beds – laying down a think layer of cardboard and then putting about 6″ of compost on top. This was 4 years ago, and now our beds are rich, friable, and grows great veggies.
